GOD’S WRISTWATCH

Hello sweeties!! I know, I know, I haven’t been around and I apologise. It’s not really my fault, school is gradually becoming tough and I am trying to keep up with it all but I love you all so much that’s why I am up early to put up this post 🙂 Goodmorning.

Today we are going to talk about God’s wristwatch and how it tells time. Yes! you heard me, God has a wristwatch that he uses to tell his time and although we cannot see this wristwatch or the owner, He wants us to believe that this wristwatch exists and it has it’s own time that it tells.

“My mates are building houses, God why am I in a rented apartment?”

“My mates are getting married, God why am I still single?”

“My mates have cars, God why am I still trekking?”

“My mates have children, God am I barren?”

*sigh*

Don’t look at me, you’re guilty too, we are all guilty of this particular sin of impatience. We live in hypocrisy because we don’t find it difficult to say “God’s time is the best” but we find it difficult to actually wait on God. I am not a perfect person but I know that one thing I can never do, is lose faith in God. I can be very pessimistic at times but deep down inside, I know that God cannot let me down. Impossible!

You think God does not know what we want? Of course, he does! It is then up to him to say if what we want is good enough for him to allow those things to come to us which is why it is very important to be in constant communication with him.

“Useless child, you cannot get a job but you will be eating meat from my soup!”

“but mum I have been searching for jobs for the past two years”

“It’s a lie, you are just lazy and you have a bad mind set”

*smh*

I don’t know the kind of pressure you are facing, either from family, friends or co-workers. I just want to let you know that God is not dead. He’s alive and he keeps checking his wristwatch to know when it will be ready to give you that thing that you want (provided you give him what he wants: YOU).

Don’t be in a hurry and do things out of desperation simply because you want it now now or shap shap. It will come, when it will come, just pray and be happy.

THERE IS NO EARLY OR LATE, THERE IS ONLY GOD’S TIME.

I know the world has a way of making people feel out of place with their conventions and beliefs but you have to be strong for God because his wristwatch doesn’t break down. It just keeps ticking till your time comes.

JUST BELIEVE AND BE HAPPY.

Sometimes, God doesn’t give us what we ask for because he probably feels that we are not ready to receive those things. He is concerned about our welfare and believe me when I say that he cannot forget you.

This is the little piece I have for us, I am really sorry, it’s coming now and it’s a little short. I promise I will post more often, God being my helper.

Stay safe and make sure you show yourself love because no one else would do it for you. Have a wonderful week ahead. :*

  1. #Gods own wristwatch#…thanks for the words of encouragement. ..we all really are always so desperate and impatient. .wanting everything at once not knowing if its the right time or not..but in the real sense, its best and better when God’s own wristwatch says ITS TIME!!…

  2. Yes. My God is not dead. He is not a man to lie either. I think also, the Bible covers the asking/receiving part in James when it says we don’t get what we ask for sometimes because we ask them for the wrong motives. If we can seek God diligently by channelling our hearts and mind through the holy spirit, we might be able to tell what God wants for us and work for His glory
